  My experience was sketchy and creepy to say the least. I went there with my kids in the afternoon on a Saturday to sign up for a trail ride. There was no one to be seen and no sign of people other than what appeared to be bunk houses with a bunch of trash in front of them. It looked like a bad horror movie plot. A dog that was tied up started barking and running at my kids (not friendly looking) and after 5 minutes of waiting, someone came out. He was shirtless and blowing smoke in our faces. My kids looked very scared at this point. When I asked where everyone was he said that they were all napping. When I asked about the trail ride the next day he told us to pay everything up front ($120.00) if we wanted a reservation. Something didn't feel right about this place so I said we would come back. We did not go back and never will. I was personally shocked that this place was associated with Spirit Ridge because Spirit Ridge is such a classy resort. I think they can do much better and these stables are going to effect their reputation negatively.
